MISSION
MY STORY
True growth comes in many forms and it’s rarely easy. It certainly wasn’t easy for me. Being of Asian descent and genetically predisposed to a shorter and smaller body type, I naturally became an easy target for bullying. I’ll never forget that one time as a teenager when I had finally worked up the nerve to go swimming with friends. As soon as my shirt came off, the jokes started. I felt humiliated. I made a decision to never allow those emotions of shame to emerge again. I vowed to do whatever it took to build a body that made me proud.
Over a decade later, I’ve kept that promise and propelled myself further than I ever thought possible. Health, fitness, and sport evolved from a passion to a lifestyle. I felt confident, unstoppable, and strong in mind and body.
Inevitably, due to the extra stresses placed on my body from rigorous training and sports, injuries became the next chapter in my story. I went through the wringer with countless rehab practitioners and still came out the other end with lingering injuries. I thought to myself, this could not be it. There was something missing. There had to be a better way.
During my search for answers, I crossed paths with Dr. Raza Awan, a well-respected sports medicine doctor, and Riki Richter, a rehabilitation pilates practitioner. Under the tutelage of these two co-founders of Synergy Sports Medicine I began to learn the medical and rehabilitation science behind it all. I realized I could become a conduit that bridged the gap between rehab and fitness. This was the missing link.
Today, my goal is to help change as many lives possible and really make a difference in the health and fitness industry – to reconnect people back to their own possibilities and use my story to inspire growth in others.

PERSONAL TRAINING
We each have our own personal reasons that drive us to get fit and become the healthiest versions of ourselves. In pursuit of this fitness, how many of us are actually in tune with and aware of how our bodies move and function during any given exercise? This level of connection and control is what transforms average gym-goers to elite athletes. When you understand the reasons why and how your body functions the way it does, you will then be able to reach a place mentally and physically that exceeds all expectations.
I am here to get you to that place.
REHAB EXERCISE
I’ve always believed that rehabilitation should be an eye-opening experience, and one that brings you to a greater level of understanding of your mind and body.
If the function of the body is to move, then movement should be an integral part of the rehabilitation process. Strength is vital not only in overcoming injury, but also preventing it. Staying idle or being hooked up to machines sadly does not achieve this.
My mindful movement-based rehab exercises are based on the science of sports medicine and have a proven track record and good outcomes. In many cases, I have helped my clients cut their average recovery time in half compared to more traditional, passive techniques.
I don’t accept the status quo, and neither should you.
SPORTS SPECIFIC TRAINING
As an athlete heavily involved in volleyball and martial arts, I can appreciate how limitations in the body can cap your sports performance. You may think minor limitations on the surface don’t amount to much but when occurring simultaneously and for long enough they can become a problem you can’t ignore.
I’ll help you dive deeper into the mechanics of your sport and discover the little nuances of your body and your true athletic potential. Witness your performance soar as you increase your mind-body connection, motor control, and movement capabilities.
